In 2003, co-founders Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez, both from Medellín, Colombia, started handcrafting swimsuits for friends. Now they created Agua by Agua Bendita: an environmentally conscious label that pays tribute to the allure of Latin America and reveres artisanal designs.

Evoking the allure of Colombia's varied coastal landscapes, and childhood memories by the sea, this unique collection spotlights hand-drawn motifs of precious seashells, stunning seaweed species in lieu of leaves, algae immortalized in cerulean cyanotypes, and nacre-inspired blooms that call to mind a beachside paradise.
