Born and raised in Manhattan, the daughter of archaeologists, Ulla Johnson honed her signature style between the streets of New York and the far-flung destinations of their family travels. Her eponymous line, founded in 2000 just after her graduation from university, immediately caught the attention of the fashion press. Growing from a handful of directional boutiques and with an early endorsement from Barneys New York, Ulla Johnson’s collection has gained a dedicated following and the support of retailers across the US, Europe, Australia, and Asia. She has never wavered on her steadfast attention to the details of construction that have become her hallmark, basing each of her collections on a foundation of natural fibers, beautiful finishing, and ease of fit and form.
The Ulla Johnson label has become synonymous with custom prints, intricate embroideries, and fine tailoring, all of which have earned her a loyal and global customer base. With the introduction of a shoe collection in Fall 2013, the line now encompasses a full range of product categories sourced and produced worldwide with an emphasis on artisanal and handcrafted processes.
Ulla lives in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
Shying from the much-digested notion of heritage jeans, Mother is a play on opposites. A study in irony, it feels soft and nurturing, while presenting itself as stark and sexy. The term winks at the double entendres of what is, arguably, the second most powerful word in the English language…
Our idea was to create a brand that captured the excitement of our own newfangled denims. We are able to add a new element to the way people wear jeans in fit fabric finish and now feel.

Designer Dana Lorenz created FALLON in 2008. After obtaining degrees as a painter from the University of Iowa and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dana entered the fashion industry, working for Gucci and Donna Karan. Jewelry design started as a personal endeavor, but her pieces quickly grew a cult following and press and retail attention followed. With a story in American Vogue about the launch, FALLON was soon carried at top retailers worldwide, including Barneys, 4510, 10 Corso Como, Boon the Shop, Harvey Nichols and Lane Crawford.
FALLON is a designer jewelry collection of graphic layering pieces. The collection evokes the aspirational feeling of fine jewelry, but with a clash of pop references and street sensibility. The collection is designed to be mixed, layered and collected season after season.
Dana has collaborated with ready to wear designers like Proenza Schouler, Thakoon and Prabal Gurung for runway, and occasionally does limited edition capsule collections for retailers such as Opening Ceremony and JCrew. She designs custom pieces for Rihanna, Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and Miley Cyrus and other celebrities for performances and appearances.
Italian Vogue recognized Dana as one of their “New Talents” and was twice celebrated at Milan Fashion Week with the publication. She was nominated for the 2010 CFDA Swarovski Accessory Designer of the Year Award and was a 2011 finalist for the coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
Dana resides on the Upper East Side in Manhattan with her two long-haired miniature dachshunds, Blitz and Benson.
From its origins in New York in 2002, rag & bone instantaneously distinguished itself by combining their British heritage with directional, modern design. Today, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville's brand has become synonymous with innately wearable clothing that innovatively melds classic tailoring with an edgy yet understated New York aesthetic.
Inspired by a desire to create beautifully constructed clothes, with no formal fashion training, the expats immersed themselves in the time-honored techniques of supremely skilled, local manufacturers at some of the oldest factories in the country. The importance of quality, expert craftsmanship and attention to detail resonated deeply, informing rag & bone's core philosophy.
With a downtown sensibility, signature clean silhouettes and an inherent integrity – each piece is impeccably crafted from the finest materials available and approached from a form and function design standpoint – rag & bone continuously redefines urban style.
In 2007, rag & bone won the Swarovski Award for emerging talent in Menswear and in 2010, Wainwright and Neville were bestowed the industry's most prestigious honor when named Menswear Designers of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). As the label continues to expand, rag & bone has come to embody effortless cool in the international fashion world.

See yourself anywhere in a pair of Illestevas, whether it’s on busy city streets or a relaxing beach hideaway. Handmade in Italy and designed in New York, Illesteva started in 2010 when we saw a unique opportunity to create a range of sun and eyewear that combined classic shapes with contemporary materials. Since then, we have maintained our experimental outlook while also using the highest quality materials made in family-run factories in Italy.
A pair of Illestevas begin with hand mixed and customized acetate — because of this, no two pairs have exactly the same pattern. After undergoing an assembly process, each pair is inspected by hand to ensure quality and Illesteva standard of excellence.
Always seeking to push the boundaries of design, Illesteva pursues collaborative efforts with some of the industries’ most interesting fashion, music, and art icons. Collaborating on designs with individuals like iconic Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed and supermodel Jourdan Dunn, we often look to outside inspirations to see how they might view the world through an Illesteva frame.
In the spirit of handmade craftsmanship, Illesteva has also created a line of leather bags and umbrellas meant to worked in and worn. Always considering the need for functionality, our accessories are designed with practicality and simplicity in mind — whether that’s providing you with multiple ways to wear or designing a bag with carefully considered, organized compartments.

Born in Berkeley CA to artisan parents, Raquel Allegra’s formative years encouraged a creative process of instinct, experiment and play. Raquel’s design career grew naturally with the origination of a shredding technique synonymous with the namesake label. Full length webbed cocoon shapes evolved out of laborious experiments with oversized vintage t’s recycled from the Los Angeles County Prison System, and informed a new informal beauty within the industry. 2009 marked a maturation for the brand as the collection expanded to include richly textured pieces in deerskin, linen, cashmere, and French lace. The RAQUEL ALLEGRA label continues to garner admiration from celebrities, editors, stylists and savvy consumers worldwide from New York to Tokyo.
