Loeffler Randall: Playful Texture

Loeffler Randall Spring/Summer 2017 is an explosion of texture. Brightly colored and considered pieces with key artisanal details like soft tassels, pom-poms and fringed laser-cut leather panels lend a dimensional feel to the collection. Drawing on sculptural cues from Berjan Pot’s organic masks and the vibrant sculptures of Ugo Tondinone, the collection gives off tactile and eclectic vibes. Pom-pom elements are a nod to traditional Indian flower garlands, modernized in bag straps and sandals destined for sun and sand.
